Chick Chick Chicken!

We owed a small boy a present. He very nicely saves us his old clothes and toys and passes them on usually accompanied by the phrase “for babs”.
He likes cooking on his play cooker so we made him some eggs…crackable eggs.
The original pattern is from the book tasty crochet but I tweaked it…I doubled the yarn to make it more robust, I crocheted the entire egg in one go and just added a chain round where I wanted a hole. The fried eggs roughly followed the pattern but any flat white shape would do .
He really liked his eggs but teaching him to crack them on his head won’t seem like such a good idea when he gets his hands on some real ones!!
